Who we are

Nature Trax connects people with nature in the Ovens Murray region of North East Victoria. We run guided nature walks and hikes at Mt Buffalo, Mt Beauty and Falls Creek, Bright, Beechworth and Stanley, and Corryong. We are a registered Parks Victoria Tour Operator and every walk is led by an experienced outdoor guide.

Nature Trax is a local organisation based in Albury Wodonga connecting people with nature in the Ovens Murray region.

Nature Trax was founded in 2025 to connect people with nature for physical health, mental health, wellbeing and the social connections that happen outdoors. The research is clear: time in nature is good for you. We built Nature Trax to make that time easy, safe and social.

Our Founder

Meet Simon

Simon Jones PhD has 20 years of experience in outdoor recreation, education and mental health, and has led more than 100 outdoor programs across Victoria. In 2021 he completed a PhD exploring the benefit of spirituality in nature for the mental health, wellbeing and recovery of people living with mental illness. Simon leads most Nature Trax walks himself, so the person you email is the person on the trail.
