Do I need hiking experience to participate?
No! Our walks are for everyone—beginners and experienced hikers alike!
How hard and long are the walks offered by Nature Trax?
Most walks are 2-3 kms, 1-2 hours in duration, classified as grade 1-3 - with trips generally including 1 or 2 walks.
No, you don't need to be super fit - only able to walk up to a few hours on trails. Guides provide every support including rest breaks.
Do I need to be very fit?

Our trips are all-inclusive including:
A friendly, experienced guide
Transport to and from the start point

Small groups of up to 10 participants
What should I bring on a Nature Trax walk?
To ensure a comfortable experience, please bring:
Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing (layers, hat, sunglasses).
Sturdy walking shoes or boots.
A small backpack for personal items.
Lunch
Sunscreen, insect repellent, and any personal medications.
Reusable water bottle (we provide refills).

What is Nature Trax's experience and qualifications as an organisation?
Nature Trax started in 2025 and is a registered Parks Victoria Tour Operator – and fully insured for nature walks.
All guides are very experienced outdoor instructors and mental health professionals with outdoor recreation, mental health and first aid qualifications, and extensive local knowledge of nature parks and reserves.

What is Nature Trax's cancellation and refund policy?
We understand plans can change. Cancellations made 7 days before the trip receive a full refund.
Weather-related cancellations (e.g., severe storms or fires) are at our discretion for safety, with full refunds or rescheduling options provided.
Are there age restrictions, group and family options?
Our walks are generally open to participants aged 18 and up, with no upper limit as long as you're able to participate safely.
Alternatively, options are available for group or family trips including young people and children.
